Bucknell University Track and Field Recruiting Class
College Track and Field Recruiting
Bucknell track & field and cross country head coach Kevin Donner announced the addition of 38 student-athletes to the 2022-23 rosters. The Bison are welcoming an even 19 new members to both the women's squad and the men's squad.
The Bucknell women's track & field team is coming off fourth-place finishes at both the indoor and outdoor Patriot League championships in 2022. The Bison saw several records fall and occupied more than a dozen new spots on the school's all-time top 10 lists. The Bison captured a gold medal in the indoor 60m dash, and several athletes and relay teams shined at the ECAC championships.
"Overall, I would say that it was a very solid year for recruiting. We were able to strengthen some of our weaker areas and provide some more depth in some of our stronger areas," said Donner. "Some of these women will help us right away, and some others will need some time to develop. I do not rank a recruiting year until the incoming class become juniors, but I am optimistic that many of these women will help us be successful. We cannot wait to get these ladies on campus in August."
